Physical and chemical properties: Choline chloride is easily soluble in water and ethanol, but insoluble in ether and benzene. pH 6-8 is neutral. There are two forms of liquid and powder solid, unstable in lye, light fishy smell, strong hygroscopicity, slightly viscous, and chemically stable.
